Environmental Law and Litigation

Closely related to administrative law, environmental law includes a variety of state and federal environmental statutes as well as a broad area of administrative rulemaking that frequently results in state or federal court review. On a local level, environmental law can present some practical requirements in terms of local land-use development, as well as the administration of remediation efforts following environmentally dangerous chemical spills.

Our firm has significant environmental law experience at the Local, State and Federal levels. We have participated in numerous National Environmental Policy Act challenges, the promulgation and enforcement of Clean Water Act standards, and Everglades restoration battles in state agency administrative venues all the way to the US Supreme Court. On a more local level, we have experience in environmental due diligence, spill remediation and remediation plans, and DERM compliance.
