Professional Experience
Monica Tirado is currently Of-Counsel to Reiner & Reiner, P.A. and represents individuals and entities in a broad range of complex civil litigation and transactional matters. Ms. Tirado’s practice areas include business transactions and litigation, appellate advocacy, title work, real estate transactions and disputes, contracts, corporate law, landlord/tenant disputes, and labor and employment law. In 2015, she was recognized by the Daily Business Review as Most Effective Lawyer in Appellate Advocacy. As part of her practice, Ms. Tirado counsels a wide number of international clients and is fluent in Spanish.

Educational Background
Ms. Tirado graduated from the University of Miami in 2005, magna cum laude, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications Studies. In 2008, Ms. Tirado graduated, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law. In 2008, her article, Immigration by Adverse Possession: Common Law Amnesty for Long-Residing Immigrants in the United States, was published in the Georgetown Immigration Law Journal.

Ms. Tirado is a member of: The Florida Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the United States District Court for the Northern District. of Florida, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin. She is a member of the Cuban American Bar Association and the Third DCA Historical Society.
Ms. Tirado has also practiced before the First, Second, Third and Fourth Florida District Courts of Appeal and the Florida Department of Administrative Hearings.
